Here is a sample letter:

Santa’s Toy Factory

To: Insert child’s name here

It is with extreme pleasure that I write you this letter to introduce to you this Magic Elf  [insert elf name here] who has been assigned to your family this Holiday Season.

This Magic Elf will remain with your family from now until Christmas Eve when I will collect him as I make my deliveries.

He has a very special task – and that is to make sure that there are good little boys and girls living here in this house. Any mischief or acts of naughtiness will be recorded in his journal and he will share them with me.

He will explore your house from top to bottom as he makes sure that everyone in the family is behaving themselves.

I feel that i should warn you that this Magic Elf is also very mischievous. If you catch him making any Elf mischief please make a note of it in his Elf Report and leave it for me on Christmas Eve.

I hope you and your Magic Elf will have a wonderful time together.
